GenadePro is a verified local services marketplace built from Glasgow, and right now, most of our growth runs through the founder personally — filming content, running the ad spend, writing the blog posts, checking what’s actually converting. That’s not sustainable much longer, and that’s exactly the gap this role fills. You won’t be inheriting a mature marketing department with a big budget and a long backlog. You’ll be building the actual engine.

What you’ll actually do

Own our paid spend and make it accountable.

Run the organic content calendar across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn, working directly with the founder on video content and with our content designer on everything else. This is a hyperlocal trust-first brand, not a generic SaaS one, and the content needs to sound like it.

Own SEO end to end. We already have a working blog, real keyword targeting, and a technical foundation that’s been built carefully. You’ll extend that, not start it from scratch.

Know the difference between traffic and bookings, always. Vanity metrics get politely ignored here. If a channel isn’t producing real activated users, we want to hear that from you directly, not after months of spend.

What we’re looking for

Real experience running paid social campaigns with an actual budget you were accountable for, not just managing someone else’s. Comfortable in front of a camera or directing someone who is, since short-form video is a real part of this. You read your own data rather than waiting for someone to hand you a report, and you’re honest when something isn’t working rather than optimistic about it.

You don’t need previous marketplace or gig-economy experience specifically, but you do need to be someone who can work with very little hand-holding, because there currently isn’t a big team here to provide it.

What you get

Real ownership over a function that currently has no dedicated owner at all. Direct, regular access to the founder, not a chain of approvals. Remote-friendly, based around Glasgow. This is genuinely early enough that the growth strategy you build becomes the strategy, not a footnote to one that already exists.

Pay is competitive for a bootstrapped, early-stage company, and we’re upfront that it isn’t scale-up money yet, since being honest about that beats overselling it. Open to discussing specifics based on experience.
